London ist meine Lieblingsstadt. Hier sind wir durchschnittlich 2x pro Jahr anzutreffen. Zu London haben wir einen ganz speziellen Bezug, denn hier haben wir auch mal ein halbes Jahr lang gewohnt. Mehr als zehn Jahre ist das schon her und wir sind immer noch begeistert, wie sich die Gegend rund um unsere Wohnung hinter dem Brunswick Centre in der Zwischenzeit gemacht hat. In London sind wir gerne mit dem Bus unterwegs – im Gegensatz zu den Touristen wissen wir, wie das funktioniert – oder noch lieber mit dem eigenen Auto. Es hat schon etwas ganz Besonderes, über den Oxford Circus, quer durch den Hyde Park, neben den Leuchtreklamen am Piccadilly Circus, über die Tower Bridge oder auf der Mall Richtung Buckingham Palace zu fahren.

London is my favourite city. We're here about twice per year. We've got a special relation to London as we lived there for half a year roughly ten years ago. We're thrilled by how the vicinity around our studio flat behind the Brunswick centre has evolved in the meantime. We like getting around London by bus – contrary to tourists, we know how this is done – or even better by our own car. It feels like a special privilege to cross Oxford Circus, to drive through Hyde Park, to pass the neon signs of Piccadilly Circus, to cross Tower Bridge or to drive along the Mall towards Buckingham Palace.
