Ich weiss zwar nicht mehr, wann ich Zurück in die Zukunft zum ersten Mal im Fernsehen gesehen hatte, aber ich weiss, dass ich seither ein grosser Fan bin. So gross, dass ich als damaliger Präsident des Peugeot-Club.ch im 2006 unser 3. grosses Peugeot-Treffen im ZIDZ-Stil als "Back to the Peugeot" (www.peugeot-treffen.ch/2006) veranstaltet und dazu mit Kollegen einen alten Peugeot zur Zeitmaschine umgebaut habe. Naja, Amateur-Bastelei, Zeitdruck und die richtige Farbe nur auf dem Deckel der Farbdose haben ein wirklich überzeugendes Resultat verhindert, aber immerhin war das Auto komplett mit meiner Mr. Fusion-Kaffeemühle.

I can't quite remember when I've watched Back to the Future on telly for the first time. However, I remember that I became a huge fan instantly. As big a fan and as the then chairman of the Swiss Peugeot fan club, I organized our third Swiss Peugeot meeting with a BTTF theme ("Back to the Peugeot", www.peugeot-treffen.ch/2006) and even built a time machine out of an old Peugeot with the help of club members. I admit that the result wasn't as crisp as we'd hoped for, given that we were amateurs, pressed for time and the colour looked more convincing on the paint can than on the car. At least I completed the car with a Mr Fusion coffee grinder.

Mittlerweile besitze ich auch einen Flux-Kondensator, ein Hoverboard und vieles mehr und verkleide mich zu passenden Gelegenheiten gerne als Marty McFly.
